Spring Fever = House Project Motivation

We finally purchased blinds for all the new windows (since the old blinds didn't fit the new ones, of course ;)) and what a difference it makes! Such a simple change but it looks so much nicer.And one project inspires the next, so before we install the blinds in the office we decided to paint it. Brian's been puttying imperfections to prep the walls and I cleaned. The color comes this weekend!
And Jane's gotta sit this one out, but she's found a good spot at the front door to soak in the sun and watch people walk by the house while we work. Not a bad deal really!

Any excuse for cake, right?

We celebrated Papa Joe's birthday a few weekends ago with cake, presents and family.

With Lucy here, it hard for that cutie not to steal the show. But luckily Grampa Joe liked having a sidekick! And we got our Lucy "fix" to hold us over until the next time she visits :)

I don't think this is what Frosty meant by "We'll have some fun"

Lots of light fluffy snow on Thursday plus rain today makes perfect snowman making weather :)


But Jane likes sticks for chewing, not for arms.......and snow for digging.
